NetKernel applications are organized into modules which are managed with the Module Management Wizard.

Hot-updates. Modules may be updated live in a running system at any time without system down-time.

Rollback! If a problem emerges with a new configuration or set of modules, NetKernel supports immediate hot rollback to a previous configuration.

Multiple versions, simultaneously. Modules are versioned. Applications can specify which module versions they have been tested with. Newer module versions can be loaded for new applications while the older module versions remain in service for legacy code.

Distributed Management. The NetKernel system management infrastructure is designed to be extended for distributed environments. A single control panel can be used to manage and update a wide range of NetKernel nodes.
