Download NetKernel

System Requirements

NetKernel is operating system independent and requires only a Java Virtual Machine version 5 or above.

NetKernel runs production systems with as little as 64MB of JVM heap.

You're less than 2 minutes away from having NetKernel running...

Like a Linux-live-CD, NetKernel boots and can be explored straight from its 16MB download jar file. When you want to install to disk, it features a one-click self-installer, requires zero-configuration and includes comprehensive built-in documentation, system tools and tutorials.

NetKernel Standard Edition is the open public licensed distribution of NetKernel. It is fully featured and is ready to use as a standalone application server or can be easily incoporated into an existing Java system as an embedded component.

It is backed by an online public repository of add-on packages including applications, demos, tutorials, development libraries and programming languages which you can hot-deploy onto NetKernel.

Installation Guide

  1. Download the Jar distribution file
  2. Boot NetKernel from the jar.
    java -jar 1060-NetKernel-SE-4.0.0.jar
  3. Point your browser at http://localhost:1060

Step-away from APIs and develop at a higher level...

"Out-of-the-box, NetKernel provides us with a wide range of state-of-the-art XML technologies without the need to learn APIs and delve into the inner details of the libraries."
